What Information Does DBIA Collect? DBIA-OVR collects data to better serve our members and the design-build community. It is our policy to collect and store only personal information that our members and visitors knowingly provide. How Does DBIA-OVR Use Cookies? DBIA-OVR uses cookies only to facilitate automated activity, store and track passwords, determine appropriate solicitations, and review navigation patterns.
General Users browsing the website: Users to the public areas of DBIA-OVR’s web site browse anonymously. DBIA-OVR collects aggregate data from users browsing our web site. DBIA-OVR uses this information for internal and marketing purposes.
Voluntarily Given Information from DBIA-OVR Members and Other Customers: There are a number of areas in the DBIA-OVR web site where we ask for and collect information about you, including personally identifiable information. Examples include membership information (which may include name, address, email, telephone number and educational and professional experience information) and education course registrations. Membership information is used in the DBIA-OVR database, which is used to generate DBIA-OVR mailing lists. General DBIA-OVR Web Server Security: DBIA-OVR web servers conform to industry standards regarding security. All information collected on the website, including names and addresses, is stored behind a "firewall."
